Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your Gold Coast Christmas Tree — from care tips to collection days.
This is by far the most common question. If kept in water and you follow our Tree Care Guide, you can expect between 3 to 5 weeks of freshness.
- When you get your tree home, lay it down and cut about 1cm off the base of the trunk — this allows the tree to drink.
- While it is lying down, attach your Cinco stand. Watch the video here →
- Leave the net on and carry the tree to its spot inside the house.
- Fill the stand with water, then remove the net.
- Rotate the tree to find its best side, then wait a couple of hours before decorating.
When you place your order you'll receive a confirmation email with your elected collection date. Please add this to your calendar.
You can only change your date by emailing us and receiving a written confirmation. Minimum one week's notice is required, though changes may not always be possible.

Please keep in mind that trees are natural, living products and some variation is normal. Refunds and replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis. Gold Coast Christmas Trees reserves the right to rely on this policy to refuse a refund or replacement.
